How to use the Swiss Istor Sharpener

step one To Sharpen a blade, work with only one side of the Sharpener's edge at an angle of 30 -50 degrees.
step two Pull the sharpener along the blade to be sharpened several times using very little pressure.
step three Finish off with a few light strokes to obtain a high quality, very smooth edge. For serrated blades, sharpen on the smooth side edge of the blade only.
